Origami
is the result of a unique alliance between Michigan State
University and Peckham Incorporated. Michigan State University
provides its expertise in medicine and rehabilitation, while
Peckham provides expertise in residential management and vocational
training with an emphasis on returning the people we serve
to appropriate vocational and community functioning. For those
who have experienced a traumatic brain injury, Origami means individual
achievement, motivation, and recognition…an unfolding
of potential!
The Origami
program is located on 35 acres of land, nestled 5 miles from the
Michigan State University Campus on Sandhill Road in Mason, Michigan.
The residential building resembles a large ranch style farm home,
complete with nature trails on the grounds. But the real beauty
of Origami lies inside, where new lives unfold in a unique, individually-focused
program of clinically effective, cost-efficient care.
