Hi! I am a graduate of Grand Valley State University, where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Communications. I am married and live in East Lansing with my husband, our daughter Macey, and our dog Libby (proud to be an Origami therapy dog). My hobbies include game nights, live music, good movies, good friends, reading, quilting, camping, and listening to audio books. I have been working with the TBI population since 2001 where I began in the role of direct care provider. The most gratifying part of my job here is the instant connection made with family members and clients who are looking to receive services here at Origami and the ability to help them through what is one of the most challenging, uncertain times of their lives.

I graduated in 2006 with my Master's in Social Work from the University of Michigan with concentrations in interpersonal practice and health. Since May of 2006 I worked with individuals in both long term care and subacute rehabilitation. My husband and I have been married since 2005 and had our first child in June 2007 and our second child in June 2009. We also have one dog named Casper. I enjoy being able to work with the clients and families and being able to observe the positive changes that occur throughout their rehabilitation.
