Hello, my name is Tammy Hannah. I have been with Origami since May of 2000 when I completed my final clinical rotation as an Occupational Therapy Intern from Saginaw Valley State University.  What was planned as a short term clinical rotation soon became a long term career path as I enthusiastically accepted a position as Origami’s first full time therapist in July of 2000.   Since my arrival, I have served as the Clinical Team  facilitator (2001-2003), progressed to co-Manager of the Rehabilitation Care Unit (2003), and then served as co-Executive Director/Director of Rehabilitation Services (2004-2014). For me, Origami has always been home away from home where people are welcoming, the environment is enriching, and outcomes are exemplary. I am inspired daily by the individuals we serve and enjoy evolving alongside the Origami team.

Rebecca Wyatt — DO

I am Rebecca Wyatt, I specialize in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR) at Michigan State University.  I received a Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training from Central Michigan University in 2004 and my medical degree from MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine (COM) in 2008.  My residency training was completed in PMR at Sparrow Hospital through MSU 2008-2012 and I served as the chief resident during my last year of residency.  I am an associate professor with the Department of PMR (MSU-COM).  It is a great privilege to be the Medical Director and part of the Origami team.

Hello, I am Nicole Zimmerle, the Human Resource Manager at Origami. I am a Michigan State University alumnus, where I attended school for a Bachelor's in psychology.  I am also a graduate of Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL where I attained a Master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. To further my knowledge of business, I attended Northwood University to obtain an Executive MBA. I have worked in healthcare since 2001 and have served on various boards, committees, and associations related to serving others throughout this time.  I enjoy working at Origami because it is a forward thinking company who continues to improve and reinvent itself.

Hello, my name is Tom Judd.  I am a proud Spartan, receiving my Bachelor’s Degree and my Master’s Degree in Social Work with a concentration in Organizational and Community Practice from Michigan State University.  I was first interested in Origami because of the foundational mission and vision statements and the peaceful campus in which the clients can receive quality service.  Through my work as Care Coordinator, I learned how exceptional and resilient the people we serve are and how wonderful and committed the staff is that provide service.  In my current role, I am able to pursue my professional passion in developing and improving the quality of services provided to our clients.  Origami takes pride in providing optimal service to its clients, valuing family involvement, and striving to meet exemplary outcomes in the most cost effective and least restrictive environment.  Because of this, I am proud to be an Origami team member!

Yvonne Fleener — MPA

Hello, my name is Yvonne Fleener. I am so excited to be part of the Origami team! I have a long history working with people with disabilities, beginning as a direct care worker and job coach, then working my way up to executive positions. I have served as the Executive Director of the Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan and the Autism Society of Michigan, Service Area Director of Child and Family Services at St. Vincent Catholic Charities, and Director of Advocacy for Michigan Protection and Advocacy.  I attended Michigan State University where I received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Public Administration.  The Origami philosophy of helping people live as independently as possible and its welcoming approach to family involvement, are critical factors in making our organization unique and I am honored to be part of it.

I have had the privilege of working at Origami as an Occupational Therapist since 2011 and became the Clinical Manager in 2014.  I am a Western Michigan University graduate and have been working in the field of Neuro Rehabilitation since 2003.  I received my Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) certification in 2007 and created a technology loan bank at Origami to give our clients an opportunity to trial equipment in their home environment.  I have presented at regional, state, and national conferences on a variety of topics within the neuro-rehab field and really enjoy home modification and wheelchair seating assessments.  I feel very fortunate to work at a place that offers the full continuum of care and I am honored to play a role in helping our clients gain independence and reach personal goals.

Hi, Jenn Pascoe here. My career working with individuals with brain injury began in 2001 while attending Grand Valley State University (Go Lakers!). Little did I know at that time that my work as a direct care staff member would have such a profound impact on my future. My career at Origami began in 2006 as a member of the Admissions team. I feel so fortunate to have hired into an organization early in my career that values professional growth. It is this culture that has provided me continuous opportunities to learn various aspects of the organization and advance to my current role of Business Office Manager. I continue to be inspired daily by the clients we serve and feel blessed to be on a team that is part of the journey to recovery.

Brad Lefke —

Hello, I am Brad Lefke.  As Facilities Manager I bring many years of experience in building and facilities management and maintenance to our beautiful, spacious campus. Among the most enjoyable aspects of my position is the pleasures of helping clients create woodshop projects that give them a sense of accomplishment. I also take pride in keeping Origami a safe and beautiful space for all of our clients and visitors.  Some of my personal hobbies include restoring my MGB sports car, spending time with my dog, and enjoying the time I get to spend with my large extended family.
