Libby is a beagle and she was born in February 2004. She has been part of the Origami team since August of 2006 when she started in the Animal Assisted Therapy Program. Libby’s main area of focus with the clients includes walking her outside on a leash, doing commands, and because of her small size holding her. In November 2006 Libby successfully passed the Canine Good Citizen Test by the American Kennel Club. Also in November 2006 she passed the test to become a Certified Therapy Dog! Rigby, Newfoundland — Certified Therapy Dog
Canine Good Citizen
Rigby is a Landseer (black/white) Newfoundland dog who was born in Hastings, Michigan on September 11, 2004. This “gentle giant” became a member of the Origami team/family on November 16, 2004 when he was only 16 weeks old. He loves his work at Origami which is evident by his comfort in visiting with anyone, his diligence in learning new tricks, and his devotion to the clients he works with in therapy sessions. Rigby especially enjoys giving/receiving hugs, getting brushed, going for walks, following commands and tricks, and chasing after tennis balls. Rigby fits the hallmark AKC standards for the Newfoundland dog very well including, but are not limited to, a sweet and gentle temperament, natural lifesaving abilities in the water, and a devoted companion.
