Green leaves on a tree

Welcome To Origami

At Origami, we work hard to foster a comfortable, supportive environment where everyone feels welcome. The beginning of the rehabilitation process can feel overwhelming for both clients and loved ones. We're here to support you each step of the way and ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. Whether you're planning to stay or visit our campus, you may have questions about what to expect. We've answered some of our most common questions below. For additional questions, contact us!

Visitors

We understand the importance of partnering in care and having family and friends close during the rehabilitation process. Together we work as a team, focusing on maximizing recovery.

Balance is important during the rehabilitation process. In order for our clients to get the rest they need, we suggest these general visiting hours:

9am–9pm daily

To contact someone in our residential program, you may call our office at 517-336-6060, the Neuro-Rehab (NR) building directly at 517-455-0275, or the Assisted Living Home at 517-455-0285.

At Origami, we strongly encourage family and friends to be active participants in the recovery of their loved one. This philosophy means that clients have the choice of inviting visitors to join therapy sessions, attend groups, and participate in care conferences.

Some residents require special diets for health and safety reasons following their injury. Our specialists will provide education on appropriate foods for someone on a special diet. Prior to bringing in outside food, please consult with the care coordinator.

Please check in at the reception desk upon entry. A team member will guide you to where you need to go. We look forward to your visit!

Children are welcome to visit as long as they are healthy and free of infectious diseases. This includes runny nose, cough, and fever. Please make sure children are properly supervised at all times. If you are unsure if a visit is appropriate, please contact your Care Coordinator for guidance.

The following hotels have special discounts available for family members and support systems visiting Origami residential clients. We do not endorse a particular hotel, or guarantee satisfaction with the guest experience; however, we are grateful for their collaboration. Please contact the hotel directly and inform them of your relationship with Origami Rehabilitation.
