I graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy with a PhD in Clinical Psychology in 2011. I have provided treatment and assessment services to children, adolescents, and adults in outpatient, inpatient, and residential treatment settings. I have also served in an academic administrative role supervising graduate students and upcoming professionals. My goal in working with clients and their families is to help individuals reach a meaningful life in whatever form that takes. I enjoy being part of a team that can help individuals fulfill their potential by using their skills and talents
I graduated from Western Michigan University with a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy in 2015. With a background as a Commercial Truck Driver in construction I was very intrigued with Driver Rehabilitation throughout my academic career. My final fieldwork at Western was with a Certified Driver Rehabilitation Specialist where I assessed individuals with physical, cognitive, and/or visual impairments for driving. Once introduced to Driver Rehabilitation this quickly became a passion and is a natural fit because of my experience.
I graduated from Eastern Michigan University with my Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 1992. I have worked in a variety of settings over the years including acute care, outpatient, schools, and skilled nursing facilities. I have always had a love for working with those that have experienced a brain injury and their families because I am able to devote my time helping others get their lives back! I am truly blessed and proud to be a part of such an amazing organization here at Origami!
I love yoga. What started out almost 15 years ago as a way to get some exercise, has become an important piece of what I do, how I live, and who I am. While the physical benefits of yoga are real and numerous, this is a lifetime practice because of how it lifts the spirit, clears the mind and brings a sense of peace and holistic wellness. Because of yoga, I am stronger, kinder and more patient. Through teaching I hope to help others find the ways in which yoga benefits and enriches their lives.

Hi, I have been practicing as a Registered Dietician since 2002. I completed my Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Dietetics at the awesome college of Michigan State University. I then went on to complete my Master’s of Science Degree from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. After graduation, I moved back to the Lansing area to marry my wonderful husband. I moved to Michigan in 1994 from a small town in England called Bradford-on-Avon. My employment with Origami began in 2009, working as a Living Skills Staff member, before I began my current role as a Rehabilitation Aide. I find working with individuals that have sustained a TBI a rewarding experience, especially when I can help people achieve their goals. I take pride in my work and had the honor of being nominated as Origami’s employee of the year in 2011.
I have had the pleasure to be with Origami since the day the doors opened (April 9, 1997). It’s been rewarding watching 35 acres of woods and grass fields turn into a beautiful rehab center! We have grown to becoming one of the top rehab facilities in the state. What I enjoy the most about my job is working directly with people. I find great satisfaction in giving of myself, and helping those in need, I like to think that the support/encouragement we offer in our rehab makes a big difference in people’s lives!
