Medical Transporter (part-time)

Origami is seeking a part time Medical Transporter (MT) with strong communication skills, attention to detail, organization, and thorough documentation skills. The MT will provide safe transportation, quality care, and customer service to Origami clients. A successful MT at Origami would demonstrate person-centered care through compassion and teamwork, and would be motivated and enthusiastic about working in a dynamic, post-acute environment with persons with neurological dysfunction.

Pay is $12/hour to start, increases with performance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide transportation to and from community based activities
  • Provide support to clients during medical appointments
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation for each client
  • Promote a positive morale among staff and clients
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Valid state driver's license
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Efficient and timely
  • Minimum of 1-2 years dedication to position

Preferred Experience

High school diploma, GED or equivalent
