Origami Rehabilitation Adult Pre-Driving

Welcome to Origami Rehabilitation's Adult Driving Online Learning Modules!

These modules will guide you through several chapters using pre-tests, videos, and post-tests. Not all chapters from the book are represented in the modules; only the most relevant chapters and materials have been included.

Before you begin, we recommend having your AAA - How to Drive: The Beginning Driver’s Manual (15th Addition) textbook with you. Please read/review the corresponding chapters as you work through the modules.

  1. To begin, click on the “Click Here To Begin” button at the bottom of the page.

  2. You will be guided through the various modules. Please complete them in consecutive order, beginning with chapter 2. You will finish on chapter 16.

  3. Each page contains different review resources (pre-quiz, video, post-quiz), not every page has the same review resources; some will have one video and some will have multiple.

  4. After you complete each pre and post-quiz, you will see a checkmark letting you know your results have been forwarded to the Origami Care Coordinator.

  5. After each passing test (80% or greater); you may progress to the next unit pre-test, learning content, and post-test by clicking on the button at the bottom of the page that says, “Next Chapter.” Continue this process until you’ve reached the final page, chapter 16. You may review that unit for greater understanding and retake the test if concerns are noted with the test results. This is to enhance your learning and comprehension of the information. A Chapter Review button at the bottom of each chapter page allows you to return to prior sections if desired.

  6. On each page, you’ll see a button that says, “Chapter Review.” You can go back and view previous chapter videos at any time if you would like. Please remember it is important that you complete these modules in consecutive order.

When all units are completed with an 80% or greater passing rate:

  • Apply to take the written test at the Secretary of State to obtain a Temporary Instruction Permit (TIP). You will need the following to take the written test:

    • Proof of legal presence (1 document)
    • Proof of Social Security number (1 document)
    • Proof of identity (1 document)
