It Takes Two to Talk®

A Parent–Child Speech & Language Group

It Takes Two to Talk® is a small-group program for families with young children who have speech or language delays. Led by Origami Rehabilitation speech-language pathologists trained through The Hanen Centre, this program helps parents learn practical strategies to support their child’s communication during everyday life.

How the Program Works

Orientation Kick-Off

  • Program overview, schedule, and expectations

12 Virtual Group Sessions

  • Weekly, parent-focused meetings
  • Led by Origami speech-language pathologists
  • Learn and practice communication-supportive strategies

3 1-on-1 In-Person Coaching Sessions

  • Individual support with a speech-language pathologist
  • Help applying strategies directly at home
