Cognitive Perceptual Motor Retraining

Cognitive Perceptual Motor Retraining (CPM) is a skill-building, remedial treatment approach focused on the relearning foundational skills so progress is made to achieve more complex, higher level skills. Through the systematic rehabilitation offered by a trained professional, individuals with neurological dysfunction can relearn skills impacted from damage to the brain. This is a comprehensive approach to cognitive rehabilitation developed in partnership with Michigan State University.

Concussion Care

What is a Concussion?

A concussion is a brain injury caused by a sudden movement to the head that disrupts normal brain function. Not all concussions involve an impact to the head, and very few cause even momentary unconsciousness. Concussions are often associated with contact sports, but can also occur in motor vehicle accidents, household and recreational falls, non-contact sports, and other activities.
