Amanda Carr, OTRL, CBIS
Amanda joined Origami in 2011 as an Occupational Therapist and became the Clinical Manager in 2014, prior to being named Director of Rehabilitation in 2018. Amanda is a proud Western Michigan University graduate who has been working in the field of Neuro-Rehabilitation since 2003. Amanda received her Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) certification in 2007 which allows her to specialize in seating and mobility assessments.
Amanda has presented at regional, state, and national conferences on a variety of topics within the neuro-rehab field. Some of Amanda’s Special Training and Certifications include Certified Brain Injury Specialist, SaeboFlex Training, Crisis Prevention (CPI), Adult CPR/First Aid/AED Certified, AOTA Fieldwork Educators Certificate, Brain Gym Training, LEAN Bronze Training. Amanda is grateful to work at a place that offers the full continuum of care and is honored to play a role in helping clients gain independence and reach personal goals.
