Empowering Healthy Pelvic Function for Children and Adults

At Origami, our Pelvic Health Therapy services addresses pain, weakness, and dysfunction of the pelvic floor and core muscles for children, adults, and aging populations. Whether you’re recovering postpartum, managing chronic conditions, or helping a child overcome bladder or bowel challenges, our specially trained physical therapists provide personalized, evidence-based care to improve strength, function, and confidence.

Pelvic health challenges can impact daily life, self-esteem, and overall well-being. Our goal is to help patients of all ages regain control, reduce discomfort, and build lasting habits for lifelong pelvic health.

How We Help

Our therapy is tailored to each patient and may include:

  • Exercises to improve pelvic floor strength, relaxation, and coordination
  • Biofeedback technology to help children and adults learn how to control their muscles
  • Behavioral strategies to support healthy bladder and bowel habits
  • Education and support for patients and families to build confidence and promote long-term success
  • Pain management techniques to relieve discomfort related to pregnancy, postpartum recovery, surgery, endometriosis, or chronic pelvic pain

Pediatric Pelvic Health

  • For children, our approach is non-invasive, education-focused, and play-based. We help children overcome common challenges such as:
  • Bed-wetting (Nocturnal Enuresis)
  • Urinary urgency and incontinence
  • Constipation and bowel issues
  • Pelvic pain or discomfort

Through exercises, biofeedback, and behavioral strategies, we help children improve muscle strength, coordination, and control—building healthy habits that last. We also work closely with caregivers to ensure support continues at home.

Adult Pelvic Health

For adults, we help manage conditions including:

  • Pelvic pain and discomfort
  • Postpartum recovery and pregnancy-related issues
  • Urinary or bowel incontinence
  • Pain following abdominal or pelvic surgery
  • Endometriosis or chronic pelvic floor dysfunction

Therapy may combine manual techniques, exercise, education, and lifestyle strategies to restore function, relieve pain, and improve quality of life.
