Celebrating 25 Years of Leadership: Tammy Hannah
This year marks a historic milestone at Origami Rehabilitation, as Tammy Hannah, President and CEO, celebrates 25 years of service. As the first team member to reach this anniversary, Tammy’s journey is deeply intertwined with the fabric of Origami’s growth, mission, and success.
Tammy began her path with Origami in 2000 as an occupational therapy intern while completing her degree at Saginaw Valley State University. After graduating magna cum laude with a B.S. in Occupational Therapy and a minor in Psychology, she was hired as Origami’s first full-time therapist. Her early leadership helped lay the foundation for the high-quality care Origami is known for today.
Over the past two and a half decades, Tammy has played a key role in Origami’s transformation from a small residential program to a regional leader in rehabilitation services. Her passion, positivity, and steady leadership have helped Origami expand access to care, grow its programs, and navigate significant industry changes.
Tammy has over 15 years of experience as a CARF International Surveyor and is a lifelong disability advocate serving on several boards, including the Disability Network Capital Area (2015-2020), the Brain Injury Association of Michigan (2017-2024), and the Coalition Protecting Auto No-Fault (2015-Current).
Her contributions have earned her recognition, including:
- Marsha Moers, Community Advocate of the Year (2020)
- Poets & Quants Best & Brightest Executive MBA Graduate (2020)
- 5x+ ATHENA Award nominee
Tammy’s leadership continues to inspire our team, our partners, and the many individuals and families we serve. We are proud to celebrate this incredible milestone with her.
