Origami Rehabilitation Hosts Inspiring Evening of Reflections for Brain Injury Awareness Month
Origami Rehabilitation recently welcomed a full house for its annual An Evening of Reflections, a community storytelling event held in recognition of Brain Injury Awareness Month. With every seat filled, the evening was a powerful reminder of the strength and resilience of the individuals Origami serves.
Guests gathered to experience an unforgettable night of storytelling, connection, and creativity. The event featured deeply personal and inspiring stories from individuals navigating life after injury—each one offering a unique perspective on perseverance, healing, and hope. The stories shared were incredibly moving and left a lasting impact on all who attended.
In addition to the storytelling program, guests had the opportunity to explore a meaningful showcase of artwork and creative pieces created by current and former Origami clients. The space was filled with conversation and connection, as attendees enjoyed refreshments, live music, and time together before the program began.
Origami’s President & CEO reflected on the evening, sharing, “This event is always incredibly meaningful to our team, but this year’s turnout and the stories shared made it especially powerful. It’s a true reflection of what’s possible when individuals are supported in their journeys.”
This year’s theme, “We can do hard things, with the support of others, to triumph over challenges and step into our new identities with confidence and gratitude,” was felt throughout the evening in every story shared and every connection made.
Origami Rehabilitation is grateful to all who attended and helped make the evening so special. Events like these continue to highlight the importance of community, storytelling, and access to care.
